When I looked in the Hordes Rulebook at my FLGS they had a point cost listed, eKrueger is 71 IIRC, but I keep seeing you guys having 15, 20, 35, etc point games. Is that by the victory points on the back of the card? Also, I currently have a eKrueger, 1 Warpwolf, 2 Argus, 1 Tarn Ravager Whitemane; is this playable?

The Hordes rulebook in your LGS is a Mk. I one while we're in Mk. II era now So as much as the core game rules are almost the same the point costs / rules for models were significantly changed. In fact, the warcasters/warlocks in Mk. II are free and they even give you additional points to spend on warjacks/warbeasts in their bettlegroups.
So in your case:
Army:
Type: Duel (1 caster, 15pts)
Points: 15
Krueger the Stormlord (*5pts)
* Argus (4pts)
* Argus (4pts)
* Feral Warpwolf (9pts)
Tharn Ravager White Mane (3pts)
it looks like you have exactly 15pts army - the lowest official game level. Quite good to start learning how to play the game.

yeah I forgot to mention that I knew that MKII was coming out.
how do you determine the point costs? Is it the Victory points on the back of the card or did I miss something when I was skimming it?

You have the Mk. I cards. As Mk. II Hordes books/cards are still not released you should download the pdf file with "Fieldtest" rules/cards from PP site. There you'll find everything you need to play the game until the final rules/cards will be available.
And if you just want to check point costs or play with creating a possible armylist, try THIS.

as a followup question on the previous, I have a few Rackham wuilfen. They have a chain in 1 hand and a short sword in the other. My first Idea with them was to user 2 of them as normal wulfen and 1 with a glaivelike weapon as a pureblood. Now that the stalkers are coming out I am even more interested in making a list based around wulfen. As unit and solo I was thinking of druidtypes (no tarn) and maybe some shifting stones.
My question to you guys is: Which caster will be able to run with the most wulfen.
I know that the list will not be allowed in tournaments thanx to the wulfen, but it is a list based on models I have and is for private use only...
Thanx for any answers provided..

They're a little small for Warpwolves IMO but they'd make excellent Tharn Ravagers if you rebased them onto 40mm round bases. You can field up to two units of four to six (seven if you include the Shaman).
Kromac the Ravenous and Krueger are good choices for Tharn casters.
If you're intent on using them as WarpWolves then any Warlock except Baldur will work well with them.

i tend to use E.Kaya for when i run lots of wolves, it fits her fluff, and her Shadowpack abilite is just great for making sure they can get where they need to, and forced evolution + Warp abilities = something dead.

I think they are allright in size. they are just not as broad as the hulking monsters from troll adn skorne or the jacks from warmachine. The wolves have high def and little armour on them and that is very well represented on the Rackham wolves (metal ones btw). They look the part IMHO.
I was trying to avoid kaya, as my buddy already plays with pKaya at the moment, but maybe I will give her a spin...

i do not like p.Kaya very much, its not that her model is terrible, or even that her abilities are that bad, its mostly because compared to E.Kaya she is....well Bad. E.kaya brings Laris, who is a Light warbeast for free, and she only gives +3 to warbeast points, not a terrible lot, but paired with Laris is where she rocks, Laris's Animus lets either him teleport to within 2 inchs of Kaya, or Kaya to 2inchs of him, he also gives kaya Gaurddog, which ups her Def by 2, and she cannot be targeted by backstrikes and she cannot be targetd by free strikes (to get gaurddog you have to be withing 3" of laris) He is also bonded to Kaya, so she can channel spells threw him, and when he frenzies she can -never- be his target plus he is spd 7 and has 20 boxes, not shabby for a free thing.
Next Kaya's spell change alot, Forced evelution gives +2 str and +2 Def, which on a warpwolf of any kind is just...wrong. making them really hard to hit, and hard hitters

She sounds like she is what I want.
In the game she will be able to cycle the forced evolution on 2 or even 3 wolves a turn. ShadowPack will keep her and her battlegroup relatively safe from casting and ranged. The only thing I am afraid of is that I get too much fury and my beasts will frenzy too much, so I might need something to aleviate the problem.
I am going to stop hijacking this thread and go build a possible list. I will post a list when I am done in a serperate post...
