Am gunna play a game here in a bit using Necrons and was slapping together a list and got to wondering. A warscyth gives you 2d6 on the armour pen and a disruption field causes assault attacks that roll a 6 hit to glance. So is it possible to get a pen and a glance on one hit?

You cannot use both.

Yes, you roll your str + 2d6 and compare it to the armor of the target. If your total equals the value of the target then you get a glancing hit.

Well, you could use both, but it probably wouldn't be advisable. You don't get two hits from the single roll though. The disruption fields specify that you get the glancing hit on a D6 roll of 6 "in exactly the same way as for ranged gauss weapons" It specifies under the gauss rules that you cannot get a glancing hit as well as a penetrating it if the roll would normally penetrate. (all on pg 14 of the cron dex). You could possibly take it a step further and say that any 6 with disruption fields would force a glancing hit even if it would normally penetrate...but that would just be silly
