First time I've gotten around to actually posting so I thought I would be a good idea to drop a post in this forum. I'm a Press Ganger out of St. Louis, which means I help organize and run Warmachine and Hordes tournaments in our city. I've been playing war games since I was a freshman in High School and started out with the original Rouge Trader. I've played Space Hulk, 40K, and Epic all through High School and College. I took a break and when I came back I found I enjoyed collecting the models for my Chaos Marines (Night Lords) and Orks but the game didn't click with me any more.

Shortly after that a friend introduced me to Warmachine right after the release of Escalation. Since I found the game I slowly started to pick up all the factions but kept The Protectorate of Menoth as my main Warmachine faction. When Hordes dropped I ended up slowly picking up all of it's factions as well with the Trollbloods finding a special place in my heart.

Early last year I joined the Press Gang crew and started helping run the events that are run in the St Louis area. We tend to have an event three out of four weekends in a month and have a large and growing community.

Outside of my hobbies I'm a Paint Chemist, a father of one, and not quite 40 yet.

Welcome, from a local gamer.
I live in Festus, but do all my gaming in the St. Louis area.

I only play 40K (and just starting Malifaux), but welcome, regardless. : )

Where do you play, mostly?

On Saturday's I can be found where ever were having a Warmachine/Hordes event... Game Nite in the South County Mall, Miniature Market on Manchester, or Fantasy Shop St Charles.

As far as weekly gaming I normally play at Miniature Market on Wednesdays but do head down to the Game Nite location on occasion if someone wants to meet there for a game because it's easier for them. I'm about five minutes from Miniature Market in Webster Groves.

I normally use www.gamestlouis.com to arrange pick up games and to schedule events and such.

Bah, it's just a number! It's how immature you are on the inside that counts.

@ Magical Memories...
At this point not really. I played a few games of the new Space Hulk when a friend picked it up. At this time I spend at least two days a week playing or running Privateer Press games and having a blast. I picked up a Malifoux army last year at Gencon... the Cult of December... and I keep saying I'm going to assemble and play em but never seem to find time. Especially now with Diecon coming up... I'm on the Group that's running all the Privateer events so I have even less free time than normal.
