Hey Y'all,

My dad told me that some paint brands display a number saying EXACTLY what the pigment is... do GW paints display this?

Can you get exact replicas of GW paints?

I'm not sure about exact replicas, but the Vallejo Game Color line has some excellent substitutes for GW colors. There are charts available that show what GW color paint matches up to which Vallejo Game Color paint. There are other paint lines that have similar options as well.

Cat De' Arms makes good paint too, they used to supply the GW paints about 12 years ago(until GW went with their crappy hex pots).

I'm pretty sure theyre UK based too, so might be easier for you to get a hold of.

The charts are pretty unneccesary most of the names are ridiculously close which is for the shear reason of pissing off GW. I just purchased a new round of Vallejo paints to work with here in Afghaniland. In my experiance they're easier to blend as well as keep dry.
