Platoons Bravo and Charlie sit at home, the Infantry Squads Combine so that there are 2 30 Man stubborn blobs with 4 Power Weapons each; additionally, each squad with have 3 Lascannons and 3 Plasma Guns. The Heavy Weapons teams chill in cover and pour on the fire to knock out Transports, Monstrous Creatures, targets of opportunity. Storm Troopers will Outflank an Marboro will do what he does best...kill stuff. The ace up my sleeve is Platoon Alpha. They're there to Outflank and overwhelm my opponents flank with 69 Imperial Guardsmen armed to the teeth.

I'm playing Space Wolves this year; however, next year I want to go for something completely off the wall and over the top and I think it will take me about a year to get all of these guys painted and ready for next 'Ard Boyz.

Too many models, with a 2.5hr time limit you'll never get your games finished. I played against a 147 model IG the year before last, 3 were tanks, the rest was sit n shoot infantry. 5 turns took 2.5hrs and neither side was wasting time. Time was called during my combat phase at the bottom of turn 5, luckily all I needed to do was done in the movement phase. I'm not sure an all infantry list belongs in Ard Boyz tournaments. In a non-timed game, I'm all for it.

BTW you should get that item that gives you a +1 to go first.

The emperor's Tarot may not be around anymore this time next year seeing as the Daemonhunters Codex is going to be redone before that.

And in terms of taking up too much time...I'll spend the next 9 months or so trimming it down to get a full 6 turn game in.

I give you credit for wanting to paint all those models. I would absolutely hate to have to play against it.

I would have time to play a seperate game on another table every time it was your turn.

This list is very cool, and very fluffy if you make it all cadian models, since you have both Creed and Kell. What paint scheme are you going for? Just standard Cadian as in the codex?

2500pts Da Blitza Boyz! (Orks) 70% painted.

In terms of painting, I am thinking of doing a MARPAT paint job with the Desert Camo pattern with the armor being Coyote Tan for the Storm Troopers and everyone else have the Standard Cadian Green (to show that there was a lack of the same equipment to show a rushed deployment)...kind of set it off as Alrahem is from a Desert Planet and the whole story would be that Creed requests his assistance in leading the force in a campaign on a Desert World.

Would look something like the following:

I'd hate to face a single manticore with that list...

Q: How many of a specific demographic group are required to carry out a simple task?
A: An arbitrary number. One to carry out the task in question, and the remainder to act in a manner stereotypical of the group.

Yeah...the biggest threat is going to come from Imperial Guard with Heavy Artillery. That's why I have so many units Outflanking and the Astropath. Once I silence the big guns, I don't see how the rest of the game could be a walk in the park.

I've played a similar list on many occasions, (mostly just for funzies at 2000 points) and unless they had indirect fire ordnance, there really wasn't much that was standing up to the amount of firepower that was going down range.
