Meganobz have a few problems. They can't get cyborks without Grotsnik, they need an IC with a better leadership, and they need a bosspole. Without help they can't have any of these, and that's fine. But what is really grating is the lack of an actual USE for Slow and Purposeful as anything but a liability. They gain all the downsides (slow) with none of the upsides (can't even take the few heavy weapons in the codex, and there are NO Rapid Fires).

So to me the solution is obvious. In exchange for their TL Shoota they can exchange for the Kombi weapons. but perhaps we could also give them an upgrade to replace it with a much, much bigger gun! One that would allow SNP to be more than a huge liability.

Ideas:

Kannon. Honestly I'd take this every time for, say 10, 15, even 20 ponts. It makes the footslogin MANZ suddenly a deadly range combatant, if alot slower than the battlewagon they could be in. But eh.

Grotzookas. Or some equivalent of them, a big template weapon's what I'm saying. Maybe a Lobba would be a good equivalent.

Zzapgun. Tank killers at range, heavily armored, and can keep moving whilst firing them! Sounds awesome to me.

Deffguns. For 15 minimum, I swear. Any less and it'd be silly. So you'd pay out the ass for a Loota gun, that comes WITH a powerklaw, better stats, a really good armor save, AND the power to keep mobile, if slow.

Voiding all this, I think they could maybe make a new weapon, a Rapid Fire, maybe something ridiculous but requires you to give up the TL Shoota and the powerklaw, turning the MANZ from an assaulty model of doom to what amounts to a huge, somewhat mobile gun platform.

So what do you guys think? I think it's pretty orky, a big metal klad ork moving slowly but surely toward his enemies, fireing this huge gun on his back, not givin a hoot. And I think we'd see more MANZ around the place...but that's my opinion, what about you?

Hmmm. 2+ save, deffgun, and PK. Sounds OP. Maybe Deffgun (or other big gun) is cheap but replaces PK?

Well, Lootas with Deffgunz... that'd be pure W1N since this is what my opponents always shoot down FIRST!

Maybe not so much cheep. At least ten points, maybe more even with replacing the PK.
