I know that common rules questions are pretty easy to figure out but there is a series of articles started on Capture and Control: Rules to Remember: Random Edition
yesterday called Rules to Remember that may help people out. Check it out, I am pretty certain the guys running CNC are going to keep this article series going.

3 is wrong. See page 90 of the BRB under "scoring units."

By the way do you have a specific question or are you just putting this out there?

Any unit can contest an objective, not just scoring units, is this what you are referring to? Pg. 90 says 'any unit can deny an objective' and then lists certain units that never count as scoring even if they are troops.

Think he is just sharing as some general rules to remember, maybe it is more a 'General Discussion' topic.

I believe #3 was referring to contesting the objective not capturing it. Any unit can contest an objective not just scoring units. No I don't have a specific question I was just throwing this out there because I found it useful and interesting and was sharing it with the Dakka community.

IC's can move 3d6? For what exactly though, just normal movement?

All IC's have Move Through Cover and Skilled Rider.

So Difficult Terrain is what they meant.

Wasn't a fan of that article.
