I grew up watching Mike Tyson pummel pretty much everyone that stood in front of him. Personally I think he is easily one of the greats of boxing. I know he has ALOT of haters and for good reason, but personally I loved him as a boxer.

So, what about the rest of DAKKA, what boxers do you like?

I dont know what it is about watching two guys punch each others face in that makes me smile but...it does. I dont really have any favorite boxers but also enjoy MMA fights also. Thats somewhat different from boxing so i will leave that alone for now.

Yea its some what different but Ive got to give mad props to those type of fighters. I mean those guys train something fierce day in and day out. I mean theres a huge difference between someone who is naturally a good fighter, and a super trained MMA style fighter lol.

I think it would be kinda funny to see Mike Tyson and Brock Lesnar duke it out. Tyson would have to be muzzled though.

That would be an easy one to call. If lesner had to box, and not do that kicky crap, he would get OWNED. Tyson used to be a serious bad ass boxer.

But if it were anything goes, thats a different story. Depending on positioning and lucky blows it could either way.
Cmon kissyfur you can do better then him though right? (I only kid lol)

Rull of thumb, never put important info on the internets. Itll bite your ass everytime!

And to stay at least some what OT heres some Tyson goodies
Close examination of Tyson’s punches has shown that just one punch has the potential to knock out and hospitalize the average man. In fact the force of Tyson’s knock out punch has an 85% chance of giving his opponent severe brain damage and is easily great enough to fracture any bone in the average human skull. In his research Dr Pain compares this to the average man, who has a 2% chance of inflicting this kind of injury - no wonder people fear the force of Iron Mike’s fist.

To put this into context, Tyson’s punch impact and the momentum of it, which is nearly four times that of an average man, is the equivalent of hitting a car windscreen at 50mph or of getting smacked by a 16lb wooden sledgehammer moving at 35mph . Could this be the reason why 68% of the population believes that they would only last one minute in the ring with Tyson?

Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

I used to love watching Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn.
Eubank knew he was better, I think I knew, but I always wanted Benn to kick the living gak out of him.

Not the best boxers but very entertaining.

David Haye (bit of a twirp) whipped him last year, but Nikolai Valuev could make Space Marines s**t themselves. I remember after the fight Haye said something like "I only hit his head once and it was so hard it nearly broke my hand!"
