There have been a lot of questions lately about DOA and BA LRs. I feel this has been taken care of pretty well here on Dakka but it continues to persist on some sites such as BoLS, so I posted up a short concise argument against DOA working with LRs on Capture and Control: The Rules: The case against BA LRs Benefiting from DOA. It's very simple.

Do BA LR have DoA in their Special rules?

They don't have it in the rules, and they don't get it from the rules. The end.

The LR doesn't have DOA and no where does it tell me that it gains it from the unit inside I really don't see how this is even an argument. Permissive rule set and all Gwar and Gorkamorka are spot on.

It's "descent," as in "descend."

Though, it wouldn't surprise me if you did that on purpose.
