I was browsing ebay to see if there are good deals on minis so i thought i would check the confrontation line...
To my surprise they are all been bought at above the past's retail price.

Since when did this happen?

Sure if the buyer is willing to pay appropriate shipping just for 1 dog.

Whats the appropriate word to describe the situation though if the bid prices are all over original retail price?

Depends. Some items are hot but I can't for the life of me tell you why.

This sold for me yesterday. $113 for a $17 mini....

Several Items I sold were below retail when I bought them. Some sold well above. I couldn't tell you why or when. I think some just want to paint them. Certainly not for gaming but some collectors are out there and some painters.

Local hobby shop was selling the old Rackham stuff they had in a bargain bin at 75% and up (I ended up buying a box of Griffon Fusiliers for under $5). I can't imagine that anyone is even still paying retail prices, though there may be a few rare exceptions.

They are becoming harder to find, and are nice models for painters.
