From Wargames Factory:

Hi Guys - thanks for all the feedback. Based on what we've seen - the Heavy Weapons sprue is going to include 3 unique heavy weapons (at least) with two troopers in kneeling/squatting poses for the crew - and then a 3rd Shock Troop legs and a couple different torsos to create a variety of options.
We haven't started in on this yet - but I've been messing about with some configurations and some design ideas.
Once we start in on this in earnest, we'll start a design process like we've done with the Marlburians where we are posting a couple times a day and getting your feedback as we go - with the goal to have the whole sprue finalized in about a two week period.
Thanks again!
Tony
I've been pushing on their forums for more energy weapons which can be used in 40k and have the advantage that since they are not real they can be used in any game to rep any weapon people need. So if they have a Phallic Energy Weapon (PEW) it can be a heavy laser (counts as sniper rifle), a particle beam (counts as a HEAT round), sonic disruptor (counts as a flamer) or something completely sci-fi like a gravity gun or a dimension warper.
WGF is about the most open company I've seen so rather than whine later why not put in some feedback now?

You are right about that.
I have been in contact with WGF ( read buying stuff) since they started out.
In my 20+ years of wargaming I've never experienced such an "behaviour"
this firm actually listens to their customers and although they cannot make everybody happy they do an sterling job
First they listened to the "mob" and produced zombies and now some decent 28mm scaled SF infantery. And heavy weapons in the pipeline.
And do not forget their very good histrorical range ( without their plastics I would not own a 400+ cellt army )

Interesting. Good if that works out.
Have their Great Coats shipped yet? I see them on pre-order on several sites but havent' seen them for pick-up at the LGS or any place in person.

No they haven't shipped yet. At least not that they have announced. I'm hopeing that they will soon as I have pre-ordered a bunch of them.
I'm also looking forward to seeing what they come up with for the heavy weapons as far as sculpts go. If I'm not mistaken the greatcoats in the heavy weapons sprue will have seperate legs and torsos which is something that I wish they could have included in the shock troopers.

No, they haven't shipped yet. I recently pre-ordered 2 boxes of them, and sent an e-mail asking when they will be released. Here is my response from them.
"The plastic is en route to us and the boxes are going to print - we hope to have everything out at the end of the month if all goes well!
Thanks again,
Tony"

I still don't like these particular models, but this is good news for everyone that does.

I don't like them either. one thing, these miniatures are not over the top great as people think they are. WGF is getting better, but they still aren't that great. I don't know why people see theses minis to be REALLY good. They're detail doesn't match up to GW Imperial Guard. WGF's zombies are terrible, they look like they have been sculpted using playdo. my brother and I were disappointed by the detail of the zombies. No crisp sharp wrinkles in the clothing.

Check out Mantic if you want crisp zombies (or ghouls as they call them).

Oh heck yeah!!! I got a sample of two and they are AWESOME!!! I like rage-zombies better. The runners and screamers are way better than slow, moaning zombies. The Mantic zombies look very generic rather than city-look zombies.
