I'm always looking to expand my skills. I see that there are a plethora of 'how to paint' DVDs and workshops out there. Anyone have any recommendations on either?

Youtube is good. Also, I bought the Painter's Bootcamp DVD from miniwargaming.com for $20 and I got my money's worth in painting advice from it. It helped correct some flaws and bad habits I'd picked up over the years and was the first "how to" dvd I'd ever bought that started from the beginning as if you'd never painted a model before. For veterans, it's too basic as most everyone would probably say "I know that already." But for those wanting to brush up on skills or that new gamer who is just excited to start on his shiny new primer gray models, it was a good tool.

I get alot of stuff from Les Bursley's YouTube vids. Also check his site www.awesomepaintjob.com. I hear the Hot Lead DVD's are very good as well. I was planning to buy those myself.

The P3 Painting DVD covers basics well. Hopefully someday they continue the series.

Jeremy Bonament (sp?) a French painter has a few out. They are about $40 IIRC.

Also, a friend was telling me that Jen Haley and a few other knowns have DVDs available now.

Bam, said the lady!
