Ran into problems when posting from a I-phone.

If I did reply in a thread and my post didn't fit into the actual page of the thread, therefore was the first on the next page,
this post wasn't there ( for me ). Not in the thread displayed after submitting and reloading, not in the reply-window when trying
to post again, not if I hit reload page or did jump to another page and return then to the last page of the thread.

Happend the last few days, never experienced it before.

Is there a reason why it works correctly if my post is on the same page of a thread as the previous post, but fails if it is the
beginning of a new page?

It is a cache bug that occurs when a post gets deleted just as you post a new post, or some other change happens to the cache.

The fix is to either clear the cache (done by a mod), or to have someone/anyone post a new post in that thread to force the cache to update. Unfortunately you cannot just double post as it will simply append the post to your previous.

But I did post again after the "undisplayed" post and it wasn't appended, still led to 2 posts correctly shown.
( but not intended to post twice )
Is there a preset number of posts per page?
Cause it only happened when mine was the first of a new page.

It is literally just a cache sync bug, I know the rough cause and can fix it, but debugging and replicating is very difficult which is why the fix is not 100% complete yet. It is pretty high on my list to do now fwiw.
