Subject: Immolator about to disapear?

Codex Witchhunters is long gone. The Sisters of Battle squad box disapeared soon after. then the Seraphim and Repentia boxes vanished.
I can spot a trend, so I thought I'd better pick up another Immolator while I still could - I ordered one from giftsforgeeks.org.uk on the first. At that time, GW's site said the Immy shipped in 1-2 weeks - hinting that it mightn't be around for long.
I just got a refund from giftsforgeeks.org.uk saying that they couldn't source any more Immies. They did not say they had run out - they said they were 'Unable to obtain any more' their words exactly.
GW's site now says the Immy ships in 24 hours - so I've crossed my fingers and ordered, but it's starting to look like the old girl might not be with us for very much longer.

Seems more likely SoB will disappear for a few years till they get around to a new SoB-specific codex. Sometime after Codex Howling Griffons I imagine.

Codex Sororitas will come, Immolator will stay, just some repackages of Repentia and Sisters OOP, while the original blisters stay.
Not economical to reprint a 3rd edition Codex when a 5th edition Codex is in the works. Same with DH and SW, whose Codices are OOP for 3 years now in Germany and won't get discontinued either.
I am pretty certain after checking that your geekstore can't get mail order only things, including the Immolator and most special characters.
That doesn't rule out a future full plastic combined kit for Exorcist and Immolator, an obvious candidate.

And yet, I can still order a DE Codex off the GW site. I like how on the UK site, there is no spot for a codex under DH/ WH but on the USA/Canada sites there is a placeholder but no product.

Did Jervis say that?
And, even if he did (didn't he also say, basically, "Get ready for Codex: Traitor Legions. Eventually" too?), haven't we since heard that isn't happening?
Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE for this to be the case, as I'm convinced it is the ONLY way I'll ever see an 'official' Ordo Xenos entry in a Codex...

Jervis did make off-hand remarks about a big mission book with missions for all races and of a mission pitting super-heavies against a regular army. Look what we got after a few years.

Isnt the entire imperium basically an ordo xenos already? Last time I checked every citizen of the imperium hated aliens and wanted them dead.. most SM chapters hunt them down when they can and so does the inquisition!

Fluff fail. The Ordo Xenos is also about understanding the alien (to a small extent) They are also the best at killing the xenos.

Combined Inquisition codex? Meh. Just so long as the Sisters get their own damned Codex!
In any event, the long and short is that I would not be surprised to see the Immolator vanish from GWs site soon, so if you want one, now's probably the time.
I hope I'm wrong.

According to your logic, GW will also pull all special characters soon, because your shop can't get them anymore.
And yes, there will be a separate Sororitas Codex some day.
And most Imperial citizens don't know what Xenos are. And only vaguely know what Inquisition is.

See how it works?
Not every army/faction "deserves" a Codex. Some of the factions that were brought to the tabletop in 2nd/3rd Edition, background wise, have so very little forces that them to be standing armies is....well, silly.

Elysians are featured in almost every Imperial Armour book, that should be sufficient for an IG regiment.
Sororitas will be supported by other Ecclesiarchy units, so will get a fluffy rich Codex. They deserve a Codex as much as all SM chapters with special Codices

I doubt they are getting rid of or even redoing the Immolator. From what I've noticed, often times they repackage stuff when the new codex comes out. I would also welcome a combined Inquisition codex. Now mind you I say Inquisition, not Grey Knights, Sisters, and Deathwatch. Those I think each need a whole codex, which from the sound of it, they are getting starting with my beloved Grey Knights.

Yes and no.
Elysian army lists in the Imperial Armour books are much like Daemonhunters and Witchhunters were intended to be:
Balanced in a very specific vacuum.
An actual "Codex: Elysian Drop Troops" would be very, very, very different.

I don't doubt the Immolator (or something very very like it) will be in the new codex. I'm just afraid that it will soon vanish from GWs site, and not reappear until said codex does - a year or more from now.
Personally - I'm hopping for Plasma Cannon Immies in the new dex. That'll show the heretics what's what.

Um, duh?
The Ecclesiarchy's standing forces are spread across the galaxy, and generally are retinues to important Eccesiarchal figures or fixtures on Shrineworlds.
Very rarely are they engaged in wars of faith, whereas Space Marine Chapters are very rarely not engaged in some warzone across the breadth of the Imperium

Yeah you're totally wrong.
"Preceptory: An organization of individual convents with up to 1,000 Sisters, equivalent to an Space Marines Chapter, lead by a Canoness Preceptor. "
That's not even the largest organizational unit within the Adepta Sororitas. It would be stupid to have army books for individual Orders within the Sisters of Battle, but the organization as a whole dwarfs Space Marine chapters. Last time they had a war between the Ecclesiarchy and the Space Marines, the Marines pretty much lost. Also I have no idea why you think they are rarely involved in wars of faith since that's pretty much all they do in their back-stories (that and get corrupted by demons).
Regardless arguing using the story is dumb and it's pretty irrelevant anyway even if you were right. I have no idea why Inquisition/Sisters of Battle always get picked out as the army that "doesn't make sense fighting anyone" when I see Space Wolves fighting Blood Angels, Tyranids trying to devour Necrons and Eldar forces throwing their last remaining aspect warriors into a meat grinder to capture one stupid objective. It's a war game and it's all an excuse to screw around and throw dice. The army is fully functional (although some units need rules work to make them useful) so "squating" it is stupid, doubly so because people think that certain armies need a reason to be brought to a table.

Probably because the Inquisition isn't a military entity, but an investigative one that can requisition military forces and place them under their command.
Sisters of Battle don't get "picked out" as an army that doesn't make sense, by the by. You're overexaggerating or combining the arguments against the Inquisition into including the Adepta Sororitas.

I thought the Sisters lost the last war against the Space Marines because they decided they wanted to fight the Space Wolves.
