Would this be counted as a Razorback to you guys? I had this las cannon battery from one of the fortress kits and decided to see what it looked like on my rhino. Since I don't use my rhino as much as a transport I thought of making it a razorback.

It's a little big.

Its definitely cool, but I'm with MasterSlowPoke, its a little big. It almost has a Damocles Rhino look to it, I'd write up an Apoc Datasheet for it or something.

maybe it could be a mobile gun platform rhino. The rhino drives around and then it could deploy the gun and then go about doing other things. What i mean is like underneath the gun are its legs and when the rhino deploys the gun it kind of looks like a tarantula but with a las on it.

i do have to agree that the gun looks a it big.

As a model I like it, but gamingwise it is awkwardly tall compared to the standard model - sure, that's as much disadvantage as advantage when playing, but i can see some opponents not being happy playing against it.

Short of major surgery with a razor saw (mounting the lascannon its side?), I don't see any obvious solution.

Yeah i think i am just going to make it a stationary gun... I really can't think of anything else.

Umm yeah its probably would of been better to add razorz it a on it to make it a rzorback?

Would check out ebay and bitz stores. You should be able to buy some Razorback Lascans.

I got some that actually side sponson weapons, but I can convert and magnetise. That way will have the option of Rhino/Razorback + various weapons.

You could add a TL Plasma Gun and use the Lascannon TL Plasma Gun version. Been thinking of doing that myself.

I think that would look fine for a Razorback. While it may be a bit chunky, it does look more like an Adeptus Mechanicus variant of the Razorback.

Yeah it kind of looks like something the dark angels techamrines would cook up.... they modded a Land raider to have a demolisher cannon and bulldozer blade just because they could. I have kind of given up with the conversion but am making the stationary gun platform able to fit inside the rhino's top hatch just in case if i decide to revisit the concept.

Just thinking of some of the German WW2 self propelled guns like the Nasher or Marder, or the US Priest would be a really cool conversion rather than a razorback




There is another earlier gun mounted on a vehicle but can't think of the name- possibly a Marder1 which looks more like a gun mounted on a chassis with just some plating around the front of the gun

I think it looks good fora tech marine sort of army. For a standard army, I'm not sold really.

Reminds me of an anti-air tank.

Very nice valk. great minds think alike. I guess i could have it be my techmarine's personal vehicle and be like a repair vehicle... But that would mean I would have to get another rhino... When i get another rhino thats what i will do but till then this project will be put on the back burners.

That's a huuge gun. Maybe little support legs could fold out when firing to help stabilize : D
