I was thinking of buying one of the expansion books (for my friend and I he plays Orks I play Chaos Daemons)

and I was wondering what the players out there thought was the best?

Apoc if you have tons of models and lots of friends. I personally don't have the time or patience or models or titans to play apoc, so it's not that fun for me.

Planetstrike on the other hand, has quite a few interesting new rules, some cool player interaction, awesome campaign options, and can easily bridge the gap between BFG and WH40k if you like that sort of thing. My vote goes to Planetstrike. Although I don't know if many people like it.

Battle Missions are really just a rehash of the old stuff, or so I'm told. Mixing some of the specials are cool though, like combining Clash of Heroes and Kill Team for a shorter Honour Duel style game.

Yeah! Who needs balanced rules when everyone can take giant stompy robots! Balanced rules are just for TFG WAAC players, and everyone hates them.

Planetstrike is alot of fun, plenty of fun abilities without the ridiculousness of super-heavies. Also can be fun whether 1 on 1 or with a group of friends all playing,

Also you forgot cities of death in your poll.

Battle missions by far as it changes every game with the random d66 selection. It also does not require any special units or terrain to play. That means you just throw it in your bag and your ready to go.

Tripple post of Dooooooom!!!!

Battle Missions has my vote. If you lack creativity for missions and special scenarios this is the supplement for you.

Planetstrike was my favorite. I liked the whole assault vs defender scenario that you would have a hard time pulling off in a normal game.
