Hi i was wondering if they can be placed at somewhere not so close to the friend button?
I sometimes pres the ignore button by accident while trying to add friend and dont even realize it.

Where do you think it should go?

Hmmm... maybe underneath the profile paragraph

I'm not hugely convinced... at the moment it is tucked out of the way, and even if it is clicked by mistake, it only takes one glance at your profile page now and then to notice if you have ignored someone. Unless a design alternative that is equally unobtrusive could be offered I dont see the effort outweighing the negatives.

You should be able to un-ignore someone through your profile page (I did it once before, at least).

Yes i found the ignore list that was sandwiched between friends list (few weeks ago xD )

I've never IGNOREd anyone, so I wasn't sure how to reverse it...

Would it be possible to move the friend button over to the other side, next to the "P.M." button?

I think it'd be more convienent(maybe organised?) to have the "promote more interaction with user" stuff all bunched together, and leave the ignore button where it is. Rather than move the ignore button.

Button is fine where it is IMO. I've friended many people and never once hit ignore either intentionally or accidentally.

How about hitting the Ignore Button takes you to a page which in pleasing Mauve asks you "ARE YOU REALLY REALLY SURE YOU WANT TO IGNORE THIS FINE UPSTANDING PERSON YOU BAD BAD EXCUSE OF A PERSON!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!???!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!&!"

You could always adjust your monitor's gamma/colour settings to make it mauve I guess...

Lego--the "Confirm Ignore?" pop-up should be neon flashing colors with a dancing baby or a midget.

You know what the bad thing is i had to memorize where buttons like PM, Friend, and Ignore button were at on an actual computer because they dont show up on my phone. Not complaining i just think it is kinda funny. Ooo what am i going to do ignore somebody or pm them! Kinda like russian roulette minus the blood and stuff......well i guess its not like it at all....nevermind.
