Hello, i am in the process of moding the black reach warboss and a deffkopter into a biker boss. I am not sure if i need to base my warboss, and if i do are you able to pick up just bases or if i have to make a base some how...

also i am very new to 40k so any random advice would be awesome too.

Looks a little odd with the skids and whatever's under them. Might want to remove them, but it's your choice.

Hello here is an updated picture, bad side view but its hard to get a good picture of a base coated guy... still curious on the whole basing thing.

GW are slowly adding bases to bike kits, e.g. the new scout bikes have bases but most other don't. I doubt your model would fit on the standard bike base anyway.

if you look on the Forgeworld site, their biker boss comes on a cool custom giant bike base (80x40mm at a guess). Not easy to build something like that if you're new to modelling.

So you could either leave it baseless or give it something like a warhammer chariot base. Most people probably won't care.
