Wizards of the Coast will be releasing a second assortment of expansions for the customizable miniatures game Heroscape in August. Warriors of Eberron will feature characters and monsters from the Dungeons & Dragons setting, for use with the Heroscape game system.
In Heroscape, players select miniatures from a variety of genres, pitting them in battle against each other. The Heroscape D&D set and expansions integrate the background and history of D&D settings into the miniatures game.
Heroscape D&D Assortment 2: Warriors of Eberron will carry an MSRP of $12.99 per set.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

again with the Eberron? Why do they keep trying to shove this half-baked campaign world down the throats of players?

But it includes politics. Ya know, since DnD is a highly political game. Who's quest for gold and treasure in which you end up fighting a big monster will you take? That one kind with the spiky crown or the other one who looks like a barbarian?

but Eberron, and 4th edition in general, make what is special about DnD into everyday and required events. take for instance magic. there is waaaay too much magic influence in the Eberron world, making it as commonplace as electricity in our, ie, nothing works with out it.
I was happy when I saw 3/3.5 return to the World of Greyhawk, but the Eberron stuff permeated so much of the product-line it wasn't funny...

On August 17th Wizards of the Coast will release the Heroscape D&D Assortment 2: Warriors of Eberron (MSRP $12.99), a collection of 20 figures expanding the possibilities unleashed by WotC’s initial D&D Heroscape release, Battle for the Undark: Master Set.
The expansion was originally announced in May (see “Heroscape D&D Assortment 2”), but WotC has now released crucial details about the composition of the set, which will include five figures each from four different classes/factions: The Heroes of Khorvaire (a Warforged Wizard, Dragonborn, Hobgoblin Sorcerer, Shadowdancer, a Fire Giant and two shadow terrain tiles); Golem & Wyrmlings (an Iron Goblin and 4 different Wyrmlings); Ogre & Goblins (one large Ogre, and 4 Goblins); and Veterans of the Last War (3 Warforged fighters, a Mindflayer, a large Werewolf and damage tokens). All the units are completely compatible with existing Heroscape rules.

Eberron had some interesting ideas - bit like Dark Sun.
Bit disapointed the minis were just reused D+D ones so they look a bit odd next to "proper" heroscape ones...
