Any reason to order more than one of these since it's max 5? I figured with priests, termies ect. that there would probably not ever be a need for more than one?

The next one of you that posts about Wraiths being I2 and ignores the whip coils mentioned 2000 times a week, and I am going to devote the rest of my life to becoming an ancient space god to trick and enslave a race, and turn them into soulless T-100s to rid the entire universe of life. At that point it will have been worth it.

If you run Dante, you can take them as troops choices.

are they scoring at that point, or just not taking up an elite slot?

Automatically Appended Next Post:
after reviewing the codex, I have found no entry under Dante that says sanguinary become troop choices.

It's in Dante's entry on page 82: "Master of the Host: In an army that includes Commander Dante, Sanguinary Guard are Troops choices."

That means they are troops choices, not just scoring elites like sternguard with Pedro.

I'm not seeing it, on his page I still don't see it anywhere. Weird.

Anyway does this make them scoring then? Since they are in fact troops?

Are you looking in Dante's Block on page 82? It's right under his statline.

He makes them troops. So they score and you can take six squads of them.

In 1500 pts I run Dainty, 4 squads of sang with 4 pf's and meltas scattered amongst the squads, plus a standard. A pair of Vindies and a jump sang priest finish the mix. Had a game with it last night, had a lot of luck and won comfortably. I will probably be dropping a squad and adding in a 10 man tac with lascan/plas and pfist+sbolt sergeant if I have the points. That's just to bulk out and give me more on the table to begin with.
