Do the Space Wolves 13th Company Still Exist?
GW don't seem to stock the models in their main line any more (maybe they are a collectable) which makes me think that they got the shunt in the new Codex. So do they still exist or have they been abandoned on their rampage through the warp?
Has someone cut the preverbial choke chain and unleashed the hounds... into the abyss?
I only ask because I don't have a copy of the Space Wolves codex and I am painting up a Chaos Space Marine Lord for my apocalypse game as a kind of hunter (he has tonnes of skulls and bones on him) and wanted to base him off of a Space Wolf. As if a Space Wolf had gone mad and maybe started hunting beasts down, but travelling with a Chaos Legion to reach new monsters and somehow justifying it too his warped mind that this was the right thing to do. The only way that this could happen is if he was somehow linked too the 13th company who already have a kind of fractured mind.

8000 points of Chaos Space Marines (Iron Warriors/Nurgle)
1000-2000 points of Chaos Guard/Supporting Deamons of Chaos
2.5/3000 points of Vampire Counts
2000 points Beastmen
1000 points Dwarves (drifting towards the bin) |

After the Eye of Terror campaign they went back into the warp and have not returned.
That is to say the codex is no longer available and the list is no longer in the new SW codex, and the models were of a limited release for the campaign. Also the Eye of Terror codex is not a legal codex in any of the current Tournament circuits.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.

You can't play 13th Co. in any offical form as the codex they were released in is no longer GW legal. That isn't to say you couldn't still play it in friendly games.
As for official fluff. In the current SW codex they are mentioned, there is even a fluff bit about them coming out of the warp to rescue an IG platoon from annaliation. Then they dissapeared as fast as they came.
As for model usage. In the SW codex there is a rule called, Mark of the Wolfen (MOTW). Its as Space Wolf who never comes back after the Canis Helix takes over, but they can still fight so one guy in a unit can take that upgrade. That is about as close as you can come to representing 13 Co.
It would be possible to take an list like this in a smallish point game.
Wolf lord with MOTW
Wolf Guard Battle Leader with MOTW
Three Lone Wolves with MOTW
Two to Six units of 5 Grey Hunters each with one guy with MOTW
Thee units of 1 Thunderwolf Cav with MOTW (the ugrade would be for flavor as the actual upgrade itself does next to nothing on a TWC)
Three HS tanks to fit as needed.
At bare bones that gives your army 18 guys where 10 of them have MOTW. Not a bad representation of 13th Co. Again, this would work better in small games.

Not everyone had MOTW in te 13th company.
If you want to field a fluffy 13th just use normal SW but avoid any special characters aside from Logan. In order to MAKE your army mix and match CSM bitz (fighting in the eye you can't exactly keep up your own armor) to show tey killed pleantyof CSM in order to replace parts of thier armor. Wolfen in a few squads but grey hunter/CSM tacs SW termi/CSM termis
