Anyways my primer chalked when I primered a Rhino yet the Vindicator next to it, is just fine.

What made this happen? and could I just have him soak in degreaser to fix this?

I've sold so many armies. :(

What weather conditions were you priming in? Did you do the models at the same time? Have any pics?

By "chalked" do you mean in color or in texture ?

If you have gotten a bit of a texture, it could be two things :

1) It was too humid and that compromised your spray, or
2) You held the can too far and the primer lightly dried mid-air before it reached your model.

Seeing that the adjacent Vindicator was fine I'm inclined to think #2 is the case.

Try to use an ultrafine sand paper (Testors offers a pack of various grades for hobbies) to wear down the texture.

Now, if you're referring to a chalking color of the paint,
I have no idea what may be the cause or cure of that.

Whatever the case, I learned the hard way, never to prime too many models at a time. I once ruined 25 plastic troops at once with a bad primer coat.

Good luck !!

I would bet this is what happened you primed two at the same time and one was up close and other wasn't

Whoa ... careful there. I was refering to sandpaper specifically designed for plastic models ... sometimes called "Sanding Film". Regular sand/emory paper designed for wood or metal will be way too rough.

Here, I Googled "Testors Sanding Films" :

You can also buy 1500 grit sandpaper from auto shops. It's used to work out fine scratches in car paint, and be run with or without water as a medium.

Don't use sandpaper. Just strip it down and re prime.
