Point one - no-one realistically expects a new Sisters of Battle Codex inside 12 months.

Point two - The Sisters boxset (7 regular sisters, 1 w/ Storm Bolter, 1 w/ Flamer 1 Sister Superior) has been discontinued.

Point three - The Models in said box comprise the largest portion of a SoB army (Sisters, Dominions, Retributors and Celestians)

The prices right now are stupendous - £40 on ebay, or £31 will get you ten sisters in blisters (Well, nine and a sister superior, but why spoil the rhyme?).

With the above in mind, is there any chance that plastic sisters will be offered before the new codex? Is there any precident, or any rumour (I have heard that there are plastic sisters, and maybe a character or two in the works) of such a thing?

The idea that an army would be left without a codex for 18 months is bad enough, but an army without, well, basically, an army!? (Seraphim and Repentia gone too).

Ive herd from many people that they are doing the which hunters and deamon hunters together in one codex. Theres alot of talk about what will come out next. Some people seem to be convinced necrons or dark eldar. Some say inquisition.
Really all this shows is that they are either going to be discontinued or they will be updated imo.

It would be very unlikely to see a plastic kit before a new codex. It would be poor business practice to do so. Nothing like a new codex to push new figures and up your general sales.

Everything points right now to an imminent new release on the Grey Knights, which should also include the Inquisition in some form, but the details are still very vague at this point.

Unless things change drastically, later this year should see a release of the new Dark Eldars.

2011, sadly for me, should hopefully see the new Sister of Battle codex. Every reliable rumor sources so far have indicated that the Inquisition should be absent from that codex as they should never have been merged in the first place. The Eclesiarchy should'nt have lost control over their militant arm in the first place.
