Yes, 4 troops choices is quite low for such a high point based game, however, I feel having the two Plasma Vet squads and the two
IST's is the sweet spot between having not enough and just enough. The
IST's don't have to suicide first turn, and if they didn't that would make my Vendetta's scoring, which being a Fast Skimmer is awesome. The only real target I would throw my
IST's at no matter what would be a Raider, and at 1850, I'm not going to see dual Raider lists without seriously hampering the rest of the army. If I'm ever worried about my Troops being decimated early doors, reserve them every time. People forget that you only need 1 more objective than your opponent to win, all the others can be contested.

PBS and pumping the other but
Str 7 will be wounding T4 on a +2, and reducing Ld10 to 3. Having two that are seven strong is vital to my game plan, more boardwide threat.
CCS Melta is for home base defence. I don't plan on moving the
CCS up much, as when the Vets are on the board they won't be flying into enemy territory anytime soon. Pesky
MC's and Vehicles risk the wrath of 4
BiD Melta everytime they enter my deployment zone.
