Rotting Sorcerer of Nurgle

I had the pleasure of dropping by this INDY GT.
Yes it was held on the same weekend as ‘ArdBoyz…so the 40K turn-out was low.
I have some pics to share.

The general crowd:

Mr. Strawberry Short Cake Marine himself was rocking with a cool Pirate Ork theme…with matching tables to boot.

Here it is in action:

Deathwing in all its blanc-glory:

And it in action versus….ALOT of Guard.

IIRC, Deathwing did win that game.

Here is a SMurf army that blends into the board:

Brief suggestion: STAY OUT OF COMBAT !!!!

And a woofy army.

There was a lot of Fantasy…but I’m not a fan, hence the lack of pics.

I wish all the participants good luck, there’s still one more day to go.

-Sanct.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Good luck all participants.
Seems to be a well manageable tournament.

The armies are all looking good. What's up with the tables though? Bright blue is an odd color, and those tables look really barren off terrain - especially the IG/DW one.

Yay, those are my Ultras!
They finished 2-2-1, and took Best Painted for 40K.

The blue tables were the result of blue covers laid over plywood sheets. Servicable tables, but not much to look at.
Some of the tables had more terrain than others. All of the boards were playable, though foot horde would be hard on some of the boards I played on. I think it was just a general shortage of terrain available, due to it being a one-man effort, and a first-year event. It'll get better in the future.
