Hey
Ive got an SOB army that is all painted to a very decent standard(3 colors om every main color, NMM, dirt and static grass on bases) and Im gonna sell it on Ebay. The only question I have is about price Im including SOB IG and Daemonhunters codex,
4 rhinos with immolator chassis and forgeworld extra armour,
1 immolator.
about 36 painted sisters with bolters and about 5 unpainted.
4 of the special sister superiors with bolters(painted)
4 painted heavy flamers,
8 painted meltaguns,
15 seraphim with 2 hand flamers and 2 converted inferno pistols.
2 sister superiors with eviscerators,
2 convertered canonesses/palatines with JP and blessed weapon and eviscerator
and 5 marginally well painted grey knights with 2 psycannons,
As well as extra unpainted bits and a few extra models.
The army today would retail for over $900 US and Im wondering what to list it for or if I should just list it at 99 cents and set a reserve(and what the reserve should be).
If anyone has alot of experience on ebay and could give me some help that would be great, Ill be posting pics of everything and advertising here and bolter and chainsword. So please give me your opinions and help me out. Id like to get quite a bit for it and anything less than $500 US would be a waste.
Anyways let me know what you think, I want to list it tommorrow, but if you have a solid offer and would like to see pics. Id give you first crack at it. Let me know
Thanks Automatically Appended Next Post: Id also be willing to sell pieces individually, they are painted black red and bone and each squad has markings and the tanks are all painted in a different scheme

check and see if You can find something similar on Ebay. if not, the go with the Reserve amount set at you lowest range. and you have an idea of what you're lowest price would be. and if it doesn't sell, you can always relist at a lower price. also look at splitting it up. see if you see smaller items selling better than large lots. hope that helps.

i hate when people use reserve pricing. i dont understand the logic behind it other than wanting to see whatg youll get for it so you can relist it later.
just start it at the lowest you're willing to let it go for.
i know when i sell my armies i dont even figure out retail. i set a price that wont make me feel totally ripped off and start there.

From past experiences I've had, you're better off to sell it in squads. Maybe give them a break on shipping if they win multiple auctions. Most gamers will pay out $20+ for a squad or 2, but multiply that by 5 or 6 units, vehicles, etc. and it becomes too much for one person to lay out all at once. Just my 2 cents, hope it helps and good luck!

I'd sell it in squads, I mean, who goes on eBay with the intent of blowing that huge a sum of money on one compulsive purchase?
