Presenting - TheWarStore Weekend!!!

When:
Noon Friday October 22 thru 4pm Sunday October 24, 2010!

Where:
The Meadowlands!
Crowne Point Holiday Inn, Meadowlands-Secaucus New Jersey. Easy access from Rt 95, close to Junction of Rt 80/Rt 95.

What:
TheWarStore Weekend is dedicated to you, the miniature wargames enthusiast. We are partnering with manufacturers and wargaming volunteers to set up a 3 day weekend of tournaments, demo opportunities, manufacturer meet and greets, painting and terrain workshops, raffles and giveaways, and most important - gaming, gaming and more gaming!
We have over 15000 square feet of space for tournaments by day, changing to special events and open gaming at night. Separately we have over 2500 square feet of dealer space and demo tables. Of course TheWarStore will be there retailing away, and we will be contacting other select retailers to come as well!

The Cost:
Convention pre-register tickets are only $49.99 for a full weekend pass (Weekend Passes will be $59.99 at the door). Please register early as space is going to go fast and we want to gauge demand while we still have a chance to rent more space. If early demand warrants we will expand the size of our space at the venue to match!

We really like the site, right off Rt 95, just a few exits south of Rt 80. If you're flying in it is 12 miles from Newark, 16 miles from LaGuardia and 23 miles from JFK. We also like the value for the area -- our convention room rate is only $119.99/night! The hotel will be setting up a snack concession stand for us, there is in-room and on site dining, and a free shuttle bus service runs every 20 minutes to Harmon Meadows, an area stuffed with shops, outlets and restaurants.

Warhammer 40000, WARMACHINE!, and Battlefront tournaments are being scheduled, others will be joining us as well. More details to come between now and July.

Run an event yourself!!!
We love player/volunteer game mastered events, and we will allocate space for game masters who want to run their own games. Email Kevin, our Game Master Organizer if your intrested!!!

I'm giving it a thought esp if battle wagon bitz will be there. But it does mean breaking my rule about Jersey (which boils down to don't go to Jersey).

I expect that more events will be forthcoming. Hard to play a WFB event right now, without knowing the rules.)

I'd give it some time, the event is still a good ways away, and there is still plenty of time for changes.

That's really only about a half hour out from where I live. I'm definitely considering going there for the Saturday.

HA, I was reading through the Warstore Ad thinking "man if it was only somewhere else besides Jersey" Living in PA, and previously commuting into Jersey I too have forbid myself from ever willfully crossing into that armpit of a state again.
