I'm kinda late doing this, but better later than never right?

Im a dedicated Eldar player. I started back in e3, didn't play much at all for e4, and started up again last year after a store was looking for someone to put together a Warhammer 40k group. I was a bit rusty at first but it was fun to start up again, learn the rules again and learn the many changes to Eldar. I personally hate the change to my falcons, but I got over it when I saw that craftworld limitations weren't really holding me back anymore.

Im currently a student in Electrical Engineering Technology and I graduate very soon! Soon Ill be taking Certified Electrical Technician exam, which will be a big step in my education. I will also be getting married in the coming year.

I look forward to using this place for its wealth of knowledge and tossing my 2 cents here and there. I'm also thinking about posting a few battle reports here too!

Nice to meet everyone!

I've been playing Dark Eldar since before the hype came out about them, so I guess that makes me a long-term player

Most of the changes are nice, I was just saddened by the pen to glace on 4+ change on my falcons. Most of the rest of the changes I love, like how the singing spear can be thrown and used in CC the same turn, a great change.

He actually didn't change too much. He was given the Doom ability and dropped 30 points in cost. Everything else is about the same. He may have been different 4e... I actually haven't used him yet! I usually run a little mech stylish with some strong troop/elite choices like Dire Avengers and Wraithguard.

I only just recently got an Avatar. Its been doing pretty good in some of my army builds, I find it kinda is crippled by a mech build. But, I'm still trying things out and figuring out a style I like for 5e.

i love him
three psychic power a turn, roll test on 3d6 and take the lowest, 3+ to cancel perils, 3+ invul save
he's bad ass
the avatar can be useful sometimes
but i don't use him much
too much for something that's just going to slog against the field
