Right so I found a bit of a conflicting rule and I just wanted to make sure on it. However thinking about it this is actually a silly question but again knwowing is half the battle won. Right so in the DH codex the culexus assassin has the souless ability that affects both friendly and enemy models but the Cron Pariah's souless ability only affects enemies, I just want to confirm this is correct. It would make sense considering that Crons are souless machines...

Don't worry about the fluff-of-it-all (Foil =P) just play the rule how their written if the rules say what you've posted then your probably right ~!

Yup, Culexus Assassin affects friends and foe alike, whereas the Necron's ability only affects enemies...

Cool, thanks guys. I thought that was the case, I just wanted to confirm. Obviously the assassin does not affect himself.

Actually...

They do count themselves, as they are a unit with a model within 12" of the Assassin.

Granted this won't be an issue very often, but it can come up.
