I wanna know what is your favrioute army and why,like your favrioute units,heros,tanks,monsters.

Orks, despite being the 'comedy' army, are my favourite.

They have all sorts of weird and wonderful units, and can be as characterful or characterless as you want.

My favourite unit? I would have to say Stormboyz, the idea of disciplined Orks makes me smile.

I know people are gonna hate me for this but Space Marines, especially the heroes. My aim is to have 1500 points for each of the characters (at least) so that I can field them with an appropriately painted army.

No counts as for me I'll only use Lysander once I can paint yellow well without it taking a day per marine. Work on the fists starts as soon as I finish my Kantor & Cortez duo's army.

Tyranids

Equally Orks and Space Wolves.

Both for their Flavor, Modeling(looks), and at least decent rules.

Fav Unit: Grey hunters
Fav Hero: Bjorn the Fell handed
Fav Model(to assemble): Ork Trukk
Fav Model (to Paint): The Wife's Warboss(had fun Painting him)

Favorite army is Tyranids. I like the whole unemotional, unfeeling horde of army ants feel to the army. They don't hate or love etc they are just hungry and the other races and their planets are on the menu. It also does not hurt that I like all the models short of the biovore and even that one is not terrible.

Favorite unit: Warriors (Flexible and look awesome)
Favorite Hero: Death Leaper (Just fun all around)
Favorite Model: Carnifex still. They just look lethal

my fav army for fluff is the Space wolves, call me crazy or a noob, but I do like the fluff.

Fav army to play, at the moment its orks, as they have some funny stuff that can happen.

Fav mini, ork mek with shokk attack gun, it just an awesome mini

Fav unit, Its a tie between blood claws and tank bustas.

My favorite army changes all the time. Right now I'm a bit bored of my Orks and Marines, so the Guard are my current favorites. I love the boxy, rough silhouettes of their vehicles, and the variety of the regiments.

Favorite unit: My Nob squad - really diverse unit that manages to pull it's weight in every single game.

Favorite hero: Lysander - the man's a tank!

Favorite model: Wolf Guard Terminators - the kit is absolutely astounding and you can get some badass poses. Catachan command squad is up there too.

Dark eldar, I wish I had the money to start an army.

The reason is because I love their story. How after the fall they retreated into the webway & are doing everything they can just to survive. Many people see their torture & soul-draining practices as their way of having fun (which is true to an extent ) but in reality they are doing so because they must as slaanesh is slowly draining their souls.

I like their color scheme and fluff, but also because they were my first army.

Orks. Great fluff, interesting units, interesting weapons, great options and enough CC power to beat most other armies.

They're incredibly fun to play, even more so to paint. really, there's no downside.

ORKS!!!

They're fun and silly and I love their ramshackle tech. I also love that you can use an assortment of 'looted' vehicles to give yourself a unique looking Ork army.

My second army I've just started on are the Space Wolves. I like some of the Space Marine vehicles and the Space Wolves had the most appealing models. I'm only just learning of their background but I'm finding that pretty cool too. But Orks are still my number #1.

I like the oddball portions of 40K that don't get enough attention in my opinion. I'm talking about Adeptus Mechanicus, Eldar Exodites, the Holy Orders of the Emperor's Inquisition (hopefully to be remedied soon), etc. A part of me still views 40K as the quasi-RPG it was in Rogue Trader days, and I'm far more interested in fluff that deals with the inner workings of the Imperium than "epic" confrontations with space bugs or terminators.

To be absolutely honest I'm starting to like the Daemon army fairly well.

Some of the abilities such as demonic assault are awesome just due to the fact that their deployment is so open.
then add in the ability of the chaos icons and then you have absolutely no reason to work about those pesky Deep Strike mishaps.

The Lord of Change HQ fig is awesome. It has some great abilities although it can be a bit expensive.

and the troop, elite, fast attack, and heavy support abilities are great also especially the fact that all daemons have invulnerable saves is nice.

My favorite unit are the plaugebearers. So far they are incredibly tough to kill and can pump out great damage. And if you couple them with epidemus and his added effects its
a major added bonus.

So in short .......Daemons, I like them.

I have to say that Dark Eldar is my recent love.
The sight of cold, cruel, ruthless raiders riding on freaking FLYING PIRATE SHIPS revelling in torture and avarice and all matter of kinky and pointy things.
Wyches are cool just because of the whole gladiator thing that they have going on
The fact that their main AT weapon is something that shoots dark matter is awesome (which AFAIK is not possible because isn't dark matter = antimatter?)
And just because when you see DE across the table it's funny to fight someone who has NO CLUE what you can take.

imperial guard, since I was a toddler the Vietnam war intrigued me so imperial guard, catachans in particular, are my favorite for fluff reasons...plus it's nice not having to worry so much about an entire squad getting wiped out!
