Can say Khan be use in a blood angel army so that you could have the outflank special rule in a blood angels list

The reason i ask is in the SM codex it states you can change the name and use the character for a differnt space marine chapter to the one he is ment to represent

I think thre may me a rule about this not being legal since they are from differnt codexs but i cant find it
and since they are all space marines i was just wondering if it was possible ?

thanks

ps dont shoot me for trying lol i doubt its possible but it would me possible in the fulff sense

You can only use the units listed in your codex. Is Khan in your codex? No? Then you have no perminssion to use him.

Well i would have to disagree with that, as, as per the BA codex, the few blood angels that DO ride bikes on a regular basis are among the best in the imperium, so no, and no to both questions, in my opinion anyway.

lol aggresive answers
i see your points but from fluff i ment as in white scars joining forces with the blood angels and useing tatics that best suited the situation not in game terms in any way
since the first reply already answerd the game rules on the issue thanks

agian no need to be so point blank with replys it was a simmple quetion to which answer i am not arguing

Don't pull fluff into this. We are talking 2 completely separate codexes, with no funky allied systems. It would be like me coming up with some convoluted fluff reason why I should be able to field a Demon Prince in my Ork army.

Lol ok i see no one understands my point

the answer i got form the first reply was enough and accepted with no arguments

the second remark about fulff was just that fluff just a remark on how cool that idea would be in a fluff sence , as an off remark with no argumnet ment to give my orignal quetion any weight and or substance in any way

i ask a question got an answer thanked the person who replieD and just stated my own thoughts on it being a good fluff, story call it what you will idea

NOTHING MORE

Hmmm, just read my post back to myself and i agree, it added not a lot, and was quite, well, blunt. My apologies.

Mine was blunter and more correct!

But to expand, No, you cannot do this because, as pointed out, you use one single codex.

Also Blood Angels do not have Combat tactics so ther is nothing to swap out.

On Dakka he was Eldanar. In our area, he was Lee. R.I.P., Lee Guthrie.

Codex: DH actually would allow this...

Che-Vito +1: No we have a debate on our hands! Also if you could field two "detachments" then you could use him but only for the White Scars part of your army. Don't BA's drop pod everywhere anyway?

Codex DH allows it because DH are designed to absolutely dismember Daemon lists/units. As far as putting together all the awesome SM-flavour units to make insane power-builds....save it for Apoc.
