Hey , Im 17 and work full time , just starting college

Ive just started painting my first model and reading a few books.
Im craming as much fluff into my head as I can.
GW just opened up near me and its a 2 min walk
so il be gaming alot.

Anyway my question is :

Are Blood Angels & Grey Knights Competitive ?
There my 2 favourite chapters and I really want to play them.
But I also want to win , alot.
Im very competitive and hate losing.
so I just want to know how good they are

I have not played Blood angels or Grey knight but from what I have heard Blood Angels are competitive.

I'm pretty sure you can only play them as normal space marines.

But technically yes it is possible.

blood angels yes.
Death company, too expensive

Grey knights yes but really struggle vs heavy armour.

Does it really matter, it's a hobby play what army you like, and learn from the loss’s.

Blood Angles have recently update Codex, so are more competitive when compared to the older Grey Knight, their Codex is supposed to be updated soon.

A good list helps along with experience, but it’s really all down to those dice.

If your working full time and at collage, where do you get the time for this

I Work Mon-Fri 10-5.
Then College 3 nights a week.
so loads of time spare

Welcome to the forum. Lists are helpful, but your mind is your most potent weapon. Experience will show you what works for you.Besides, it;s a lot more fun to crush some jerk's uber army with a bunch of girls with guns. Don't get discouraged. In my 30 years of gaming I've found I learn more from my losses than my wins... 'course I don;t learn as much as I used to.

It takes skill. Wheather is tactical skill, list building skill, or whatever. Just don't forget that sometimes even the best get bad dice rolls.. lol

Blood Angels can be very competitive, but Grey Knights not so much.
