How do you post pictures into a thread?

And how can i put a picture into my signiture?
I've got one ready. Just haven't found a successful way of doing it.

Upload to Imageshack.

Then use [img] tags with the "Direct Link"

Dakka Gallery is for Wargaming Pictures only. Err on the side of caution and just use Imageshack.

You can use the [img] Tags with Gifs too. Again, just upload to imageshack!

Ah. Yes, it should be the same. There is even a handy section under each image with pre-formatted forum code!

You were using a malformed image link.

As you can see with the code there, an IMG Tag only has the URL Adress to the image. It doesn't have any <> tags (which are used in HTML).

Ahh now i understand......I think....
