Hey...
Are you tired of the big nasty deathstars that you fight? Sick of Black Guard anvils? Try the biggest, nastiest, most expensive unit you will ever see.
The list is as follows. To be played at 2500 (bit of an odd points value)
Vampire Lord, Forbidden Lore, Dark Acolyte, +1 Magic Level, 2x Powerstone,
Helsteed, Book of Arkhan 425
Vampire, Nightmare, Forbidden Lore, 2x powerstones 183
Vampire, Nightmare, Forbidden Lore, 2x powerstones 183
Wight King, Barded Skeletal Steed, Drakenhoff Banner, Lance 257
20 Blood Knights, Banner, Kastellan, Musician, Royal Standard of Strigos
1190
20 Zombies 80
20 Zombies 80
20 Zombies 80
20 Zombies 80
Let me explain. This list deploys with the blood knights at 3x7, with the Wight King on the side. The lord and two vamps deploy just right behind it. The lord takes the lore of vampires, one hero takes the lore of beasts, and one takes the lore of shadows. They have 2x powerstones each for my evil plan. The point of the lores is to take all of the movement spells. There will be The Wolf Hunts, Unseen Lurker and Danse flying about. Each hero uses 2x stones for the big one shot party. The list is called the train of terror because it moves REALLY FAST. Deploys at 12", marches 14", then magic begins. Danse makes it move another 8", Unseen Lurker lets it march 14", and the wolf hunts makes 2d6 (on average 7"). The unit basically ends up 55" from the board edge in the first turn. Then it proceeds to kill the CRAP out of whatever it hits due to ASF/Hatred.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT?
A lot. Firstly, it relies on ALL of the spells to go off without miscasts or failing. Another flaw is that it will only really kill one unit during the whole game. Frenzy is not a big issue, since it's in your face in the first turn. It's really cheesy, unrealistic and messed up, but it's still worth a laugh.

Frenzy is wrong with it. With two units of goblin riders you can be forced to overrun off the table and when you get back on the table you have to overrun off it again. In the mean time all your zombies are dead you loose, crap idea.

Would be worth a laugh in a freindly game. Made me laugh thinking about it

Never really understood this one. Are T3 5+ armor guys really that difficult to kill, even with their mighty ASF S4 weaponry?

I like the list, and would be fun for a joke game, if people knew what they were getting into.

How to stop the pain train!??

Yes because they ALWAYS reroll to hit. So unless your running an absolutely nuts unit and they only kill like 1 a turn they are in trouble.

The reason you take ASF is because you want to kill as many as possibly so you dont get hit back.

In ur gaem, killin ur doodz.

the other reason they are so tough to kill, is that they seem to be more stubborn than dwarfs! Can't run em off to save your life.
