Is there any chance of making the double click quick edit "stick" until you either click update or cancel?
It's really annoying when you type out a quick edit, then something happens (either a misclick or something reloads) and it causes the quick edit to close and lose your edit!

I can't express how much I agree with you there. I started doing what I first intended to be a quick edit and ended up at 100 words or so and then it all vanished.

Yeah it has happened to me too and is a planned change.
