Deadly Dark Eldar Warrior

So I'm thinking about making a kind of Dark Eldar heavy mech, because they dont really have any walkers of any sort like the other races. Originally to make it i was gonna take a Space Marine Dreadnought, Mount a dark lance on each of its shoulders, and give it two Chaos Defilers close combat arms. I then realized the Defiler was too big for a dreadnought to use its arms, so now I'm thinking about using the dark lances, a wraithlord, and a dreadnought. Please post thoughts and comments, maybe even some ideas about how to build it! When i start this project I'll be sure to post some pics!!

Well i think if you are going to make a DE walker stick with Eldar. DE dont offer a walker so how will you go about the rules aspect? Also using anything SM will simply look out of place with a DE or eldar army. An eldar wraith lord with some quality modeling and above all appropriate paint job would look the most similar to what would belong in a DE army.
But then again how would you make it work rule wise? or is it just for show?

Dark Eldar don't have walkers for a reason. They are to slow, the closest thing they have is the Talos, which is a skimmer MC.
If you want some heavy mech for DE, look into making flyers and skimers, something like the DE raven.

Most likely it would just be for show, but if my friends allow me to use it in a game i might make a set of codex appropriate rules for it

That doesn't make any sense fluffwise. Giant walkers don't make sense in an army all about speed. All those models don't sound like they'd look good together, or in a Dark Eldar army at all.

Meh...
Eldar doesn't have any kind of CC walkers outside of Wraithlords so I would probably base one off a Wraithlord if possible.
Just had to add that as the idea of a War Walker with CC arms would look silly

You could have a crazy count-as talos wraithlord with a jetpack / rocket boots.

Thanks for the criticsm so far i guess lol. The eldar Wraithlord is pretty lithe looking, and with a little conversion and modeling edits i could probably pss it as a dark eldar mechie thing. Fluff isnt really my primary concern right now, and im pretty sure its not GW's either for the DE seeing as they barely put any fluff in the codex. Its more of just an experiment, but like i said ill show itwhen i get it strted

The problem with a wraithlord, fluff wise, is that they're designed to hold the soul of a dead eldar and preserve it from Slaanesh. Dark Eldar don't use that technology and the Archon would more likely want to consume the soul trapped within.
Still, you can get some creative poses with a wraithlord.

I would make it a monsterous creature which is chained on a Raider and released into combat. I would make a Raider with a cage with a warp beast handler on it like he just released to reek havoc. No walker, just a monsterous creature. This way you stay within the fluff by having it fly around in a fast transport and be able to assault after moving full speed. This way you can steal from the WFB and LoTR/WoTR range for monsterous beast. Then you can use the Creature Creator from GW to make the rule set.

You can do what you want really. Just make it look awesome. If you really want it to have fluff, then I suppose you could do something along the lines of an Archon being inspired by a Penitent Engine. Creating his own tortured bipedal walker. The slave/imprisoned driver having gone mad with agony now throws itself into combat to hasten it's own destruction. Plus who is to say that this device/creature would be used in major battles, it could be set loose open an imperial backwater planet just for the hell of it.
