I'll be participating in a local club tourney in a few weeks and wanted to get some feedback on the list I'm taking. I'll be playing more for fun than competition, but I'd like to give the boys a nice challenge. It's also the first event that I'll be bringing my seer council to, and I'd like to see what kind of synergy I can get with the units listed as well as dust off a few models that I don't normally use. And yes, I know there's no Dire Avengers or Fire Dragons in Wave Serpents in this list.
HQ
Farseer on Jetbike, RoWit, RoWard, Spirit Stones, Fortune, Doom
Warlock Council x7, Jetbikes, Spearx3, Embolden x2, Enhance, Destructor x4
Autarch on Jetbike, Mandiblasters, Power Weapon, Fusion Gun
Fast Attack
Shining Spears x5, Exarch, Shuriken Cannon, Star Lance, Skilled Rider, Withdraw
Warp Spiders x8, Exarch, Twin Spinners, Power Blades, Withdraw
Troops
Guardian Jetbikes x6, Shuriken Cannonx2, Warlock, Embolden, Spear
Guardian Jetbikes x6, Shuriken Cannonx2, Warlock, Embolden, Spear
Heavy Support
Fire Prism, Shuriken Cannon, Star Engines
As an alternate option, I'd drop the Shining Spears (which I'd really like to keep - I haven't had an opportunity to use them more than once) in favor of a second Fire Prism and pick up either a Sword/Shuricannon Wraithlord or unit of Pathfinders as well. No elites, though, but Harlies would be my first choice if I added them (in place of the Spears, I guess). Any feedback on twin spinners vs. spinnerette rifle?

it's a true shame that you can't put Eldrad on a bike
*sigh*
but oh well
a nice list
i would give it more heavy vehicle killing power
right now you have that S8 lane on the exarch
and the fusion gun on the autistic
and that's about it

To keep with the theme I'd drop the Spiders and take another Jetbike pack with the same loadout then try to fudge the points here and there to fit another prism. A single prism isn't worth taking.

Every time I make an army list I wish I could put Big E on a chopper. *sigh*
Unfortunately, that's all the bikes I've got :(
I've got the spears for anti-tank too, but it is a little light. I guess I could squeeze a BL/ EML wraithlord in there in place of the prism, but I'd like to keep with the "fast moving" theme of the army. Maybe replace it with a Falcon and trade the spiders for Harlies?

If you go that route toss a guideseer and 5 DA into a Falcon with Holofields and EML. It's pricey but it delivers quiet a punch with 3 48" TL BS4 Str 8 shots and it's scoring to boot.

Seer is ok.
Council is ok, though you don't really need more than 2 destructors if you are hurting on points.
Autarch, even with doom str 3 power weapons are pretty lacklustre...I highly recommend the laser lance.
Thought I like th Autarch, rules-wise he's kinda lame.
I think a second Seer does alot more for the list.
Spears: keep them if you want...but I don't think they offer too much to the list.
Fragile, commitment = their death.
They are in need of an anvil othe than the council IMO.
Spears are like Vanguard.... you use them because you want to...they do have a niche and can perform well, but it is a small window.
Warp Spiders: I like these guys and the Dakka, follow up charge with doom on target is nice...but a bit over kill and I don't think you really need this little combo...stick with shooting stuff up and retreating as with power armor they are still T3....shame their gun is Ap-...which means -1 on the damage results...big turn off for me to use them.
Guardian Jetbikes are ok, but you really have to baby them if you want to be serious with the list...with all their speed, relative durability, and jump-shoot-jump...they are fragile and as the troop choice of the list....they will die and is hard to have them last long unless you reserve them...which means less fire power...so there's a gamble with these guys with a heavy toll.
Prisms: they should come in pairs.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

So here's the list I've finalized on, let me know what you think:
HQ
Farseer on Jetbike, RoWit, Spirit Stones, Fortune, Doom
Warlock Council x7, Jetbikes, Spearx3, Embolden, Enhance, Destructor x2
Farseer, RoWit, RoWard, Stones, Doom, Guide
Fast Attack
Warp Spiders x8, Exarch, Spinnerette Rifle, Power Blades, Withdraw
Troops
Guardian Jetbikes x6, Shuriken Cannonx2, Warlock, Embolden, Spear
Guardian Jetbikes x6, Shuriken Cannonx2, Warlock, Embolden, Spear
Dire Avengers x5
Heavy Support
Falcon, Shuriken Cannon, Star Engines, Spirit Stones
Fire Prism, Shuriken Cannon
Fire Prism, Shuriken Cannon
It's 1750 on the nose although I think there's only 7 spiders instead of 8, but I don't have the list to confirm that atm. Footseer and Avengers in the Falcon as recommended by BlueDagger, although I forewent the Holofields for stones and Star Engines for the option to turn 5 boost to cover an objective. Thought about dropping the extra Doom for Fortune. Dropping the Spears I managed to squeak 2 Fire Prisms in, bare except for the cannon upgrade which I might trade for stones instead. Pretty sure I can effectively play null deployment, although it would be better with an autarch's master strategist.
