How does wolf tooth necklace and Terrifying visage interact?
Necklace says the Wolf hits on a 3+ regardless of WS.
Visage says the enemy hits on a 6 regardless of WS(on a failed LD test).
So assuming the Wolf Lord fails his LD in combat vs Flayed ones does that auto supersede the Necklace?

I would think so.
The Wolftooth necklace has an effect that simply replaces the normal WS comparison, whilst the Terrifying Visage is an effect that kicks in after a specific trigger.
So I would say in that case that the Terrifying Visage, as the more specific action, takes precedence.
Otherwise, you're stuck with the old 'Unstoppable object, Immovable barrier' conundrum... for which the only real solution is to just roll off on it.

Yeah, this is a roll-off scenario. Make the LD check, and if it fails, roll-off to determine which one takes precedence. Do this for each time, not just once for the whole game. I believe this is the fairest way to do it.

I dont see this as a roll off at all - the Flayed ones takes precedence as it is a more specific test.

Why is it more specific just because a test is required to be failed?
If the Wolf tooth necklace would say 'In close combat roll a d6 and if you roll 1+ you hit on 3+ regardless comparative WSs' it would be more specific?
Nah, both are equally specific, they affect how you hit in close combat regardless of WS and a roll off is needed every time exactly as padixon said.

In one game turn an Imperial guardsman can move 6", kill a few guys with his flamer, assault 6", kill two more guys with his bayonet, flee 12", regroup when assaulted, react 6", kill one more guy with his bayonet and then flee another 12".
So in one game turn an Imperial guardsman can move 42" and kill more than 5 people. At the same time a Chimera at top speed on a road can move 18"... |

The Game Breaks. In the old FAQ, they said to Roll off to see which one works. I would personally just compromise and say a 5+ if he failed his Ld. Not RaW bit RaW the game assplodes into tiny bits.

Because it only applies if the test is failed.
The Wolftail's effect applies to every round of combat.
The Scary Face's effect applies to those rounds of combat in which you fail the Ld test. Since it applies when a specific condition is met, rather than simply applying to every round of combat, it is a more specific effect.
But it's a borderline-enough distinction that I would be more than happy to roll for it on the off-chance of it actually coming up... which is admittedly unlikely since I don't have any Space Wolves and my Necron army doesn't include Flayed Ones...

Well, no. But if I have neither of the relevant units, I'm also never going to be in a game where the two of them come into conflict...

I would say if the leadership test is failed by the model with the Wolftooth Necklace, Terrifying Vissage is activated ands takes precedence, so in essence, its a kind of roll-off, each assault phase involving said models requires a leadership test, if passed, wolf-tooth necklace gets his bonus, if failed, Terrifying Vissage imposes its penalty. Seems obvious to me.
