Hi all,

I’m really trying to get a well-balanced list between armor vs foot, shoot vs assault, fast vs defensive… as well as having an overall effective & supportive force. That was the aim, here is the result. I would really appreciate your wise comments, advice and suggestions on the list, the balance and ideas for the remaining points.

You've got some very cool personality going on with all the names and everything.

I feel like you don't have enough troops in general.

I also dislike a single land speeder (KP waiting to happen).

Your Marshall should have a Power Weapon at least.

I would remove Land Speeder Lestartia and use those points to add more Initiates into the squads, as well as buying a melee weapon for Marshal Lautris.

Just my opinion.

Many thanks for the comments... much appreciated. I see the wisdom in your words and will certainly change the Marshal and Chaplain's set up. That said... a couple of questions:

Would you go with Blessed Hull on the LRC?

I'm also having doubts about the missile launcher in the CS Dark Storm. As a defensive squad, should I go for a close combat set up and add a flamer?

There seems to be a real debate over single speeders or squadrons. Some say group the Speeders, others say always keep them single. What are other people's thoughts?

My local metagame does not include any lance players. Lances have been dropped by many Eldar players in favor of fire dragons, so I would say in general, no.

If the squad plans on hanging back, I would even consider a Lascannon. If I remember, they're cheaper in a templar army. That extra str can be really useful. That's a personal playstyle type thing.

Flamers are great. It'd be out of range the whole game, but if you ever got threatened by Deep strikers or something you'd be glad you had it.

I'll throw out that when playing as IG, I love seeing single speeders, because autocannon fire can destroy it pretty easily.
