I had a Terminator Captain when I started my Wolfys, so I tried to make him look like a spacewolf as seen below. That was the first attempt, then I added more paint and a homemade cyclone missile launcher. As You can imagine, I did not quite like the model
So I removed all bling, paint and started all over. I decided to make him into a Arjac Rockfist (just by replacing weapons. I like this version much better than my first attempt, but this was made just the other day, so of course I now see some obvious flaws in the paintjob, still...
About the "thunder hammer", its a hammer from fantasy battles empire, and quite small for even an ordinary marine these days. But I figure if Arjack can throw his mighty hammer, maybe it should not be a two hand anvil on a pole. Also I dont like supezising to much. Its kind of scary how much the minis have grown in recent years. (yea, so why do I play SW?)
The problem with this mini is he is a metal captain that has a few years on him, and Arjac "the man mountain" is really not much larger than a regular Powerarmour marine. But he makes it up a bit in bulk and posing, besides, he is just an "ordinary" Wolf guard, not even HQ

Critque? Questions?

First attempt:

My actual Arjac now

Thank you all for the remarks.
The size is kind of hard to fix. Thats the problem with metal minis: one size smaller than ordinary plastic troops. But I might fix him a more spectacular base and a standard to make it up? Anyway, the fluff says Arjac is modest, and as a captain of the WG rather than an actual HQ I dont want to give him to much space to intrude on my HQ

One thing I would like to change is the shield. that should definatley be bigger.

As for yellow shoulder pad and markings, Im afraid that would clash with the rest of my army.

Thank you again.

I made some uppdates on my Arjac. Tried to model an anvil for shoulder/back ormnament and carved a rough massive shield with a crude anvil design ("The anvil shield is a powered slab of adamantium-laced obstinite" -the codex). I just wanted the shield to be large and unshapely. Also tried to add som SW bling, but it just got to a skull and a tail (unpainted). Maybe a bit more wolfy now.

Edit: Oh, and I will ad some runes on the anvil and the shild when I get around to tidy up the paintjob and recent additions

I painted the shield and added runes. Painted the tail and made some fixin up of the paintjob in general (dont know if it comes out in the pics). I think he is pretty much done, but it usually takes a few days for my eyes to adjust to what Ive actually done. Not altogetjer satisfied with the shield. Hm maybe a remake awaits.

critique? anger?, pusslement? Let me have it.
