The Harlies are pretty expensive for 6 units. But a really fun addition to any Eldar Army, just a little impractical sometimes, specially in a tourny army and transportless.


The Dark Reapers are 10 points cheaper than a Fire Prism with Holo Fields.....You tell me which is more useful? Dark Reapers are almost always a point dump, and they're only moderately useful against MEQ armies, and even then, there's a lot more to get for 140 points.

On The Dire Avengers I recommend, something on the exarch that benefits the total unit. The unit wants to range everything to death, so give him the cheap avenger 4 cannon. And maybe only bladestorm. It's 147 total, and if you change around some stuff, you might be able to field an entire unit of 10 of them again. You're a lil low on the total troop choice, and it looks like they're all transportless.

You need more scoring units, a unit of guardians and a unit of dire avengers is not enough. This is a must if you are trying to make a tournament list.

Maybe drop the jet bike seer counsel (even though it always seems fun) and just get a full squad of jet bikes, or maybe more squads of infantry.

I would drop one of the vipers and get a dark reaper exarch, you can give him a missile launcher and he has BS 5, you can even have him shoot it twice.

Looks like a fun list to play, but if you want to have a chance at winning, putting more scoring units in it is a must.

Well, your scoring units are foot slogging and so are very vulnerable,
despite the fact that they have conceal resp. defend.

In a competitive environment, your Farseer needs both runes;
runes of witnesses became mandatory vs. new Nids.

As others have said, not really a competitive list. Fun, but not competitive.

- If your taking harlies you need a 10 man unit to ensure you wipe the other side out before they get to attack.
- Only 2 troops will get you no where fast, on foot is even worse.
- Guardians BS + a single shot weapon will fail you a lot of the time. Better to take up Scatter Laser.
- If you're taking reapers always put an exarch with them IMO preferably with Tempest Launcher and Crackshot. It's devastating against marines.


Too early for me to do points in my head, but you'll need to swap around to fit more troops and preferably toss a spear or two on the council for transport popping before they assault.

Thank you for the advice everyone, it was very helpful. I've come up with an edited list that may or may not be effective in a tournament. Once again, I encourage criticism.

Nix the rangers, they don't mesh with the list at all. For ranger/pathfinders to be good you need to infil them and doing that with this list would leave them very vulnerable.

I gotcha. Any recommendations to what I should throw in instead?

If you have them 2 Guardian Jetbike packs would work great with that list.

2 Reg Jetbikes, 1 Cannon Jetbike, 1 Warlock Jetbike with Spear and Embolden = 129 a pop

In the 2nd list, I'd drop one Pathfinder unit and add another Fire Prism (naked).
