I recently got a second chance to do a super heavy in the style of my previous Praetorian Stormlord. I particularly enjoyed painting the freehand on this one:

I've got it up on Coolminiornot right now, if you care to vote.

I like it That's very cool indeed. Makes a nice change from the usual dark green tanks.

The freehand is lovely.

The painting is very cool, particulary the freehand (not a suprise from odinsgrandson).
The only problem with it is that I don't like so bright colours on biiiiiiiiiiig tanks like BaneBlade. But that is only my opinion.

Win/Draw/Lost statics
Space Orks: 11/1/1
Space Marines: 10/2/5
Lizardmen: 8/2/3
High Elves: 13/2/2 and one tournament victory!

I also do love the free hand work. Honestly I am horrible at free hand and tip my hat to anyone with that skill. But while the chipping effect is good, the model is so very bright for that much wear and tear. Some, mud and dust effect or a light wash would tone it down to match the chipping. But other than that great work.

Great work here! The colours are excellent, and the freehand is stunning. The dings and scrapes all over the tank are done nicely as well. Great stuff!

I actually did a little bit of that, but the Praetorian colors are so bright that they didn't really make the mini so much darker. In the end, he does have a force that he needs to match, so I figured it would be best this way.

Yeah, and I think he'll be accomplishing the former rather than the latter.
