I got the first one painted today, took me around 3 hours to complete one so i'm planning to do they all by Monday. I've also added a picture of how im thinking about doing the models.
So for the Sanguinary Guard i started with bascoating them in Chaos Black, then I painted them with a 1:1 mixture of scorched brown and shining gold I then drybrushed shining gold onto the model I then washed the model with Gryphonne sepia. After that had dried i then highlighted the model with Burnished gold. For the wings i did a coat of astronomican grey then 3-4 layers of really watered down skull white. The partchments were done with calthan brown, delvan mud, khemri brown then highlighted with bleached bone. The blood drops were done with mechnite red, blood red, blazing orange then a dot of skull white and then a layer of 'Ardcoat for the shine.
C&C welcome

I like the power axe effect and the overall gold paint, however I think the wings are a little too white maybe wash them a little to bring out extra details?

Put a black wash on the wings. I really like the axe but I would have put more highlight on the face.

The axe is what snaggs me, I may try that effect on one or more of my guys.

Ok i'll badab black wash one set of wings but your right they do need to look a little dirty
The axe however is fairly easy to do but it gets difficult (for me) when doing it on swords.

You've got some odd lighting effects that make the gold look really rusty.
Regarding the wings, you might try washing the wings Asurman Blue, then giving it your white highlights. It will give some definition to the feathers and it won't look dirty.
Here's an example of some wings that are done that way
