So it's recently come to my attention that GW discontinued the Brazen Brass color. I find this quite disconcerting as both my Necrons and Cryx use it as their secondary color. Anyone know a good paint color that comes as close to it as possible?

You might laugh but FolkArt makes some really nice metals. Im sure they would have the color, if not, pretty damn close

...urrrr... I dunno

I'm not sure. When Brazen Brass got discontinued I switched to Dwarf Bronze. With a few washes, it might look a bit more brass-y...

Waaagh! Gorskar = 2050pts
Iron Warriors VII Company = 1850pts
Fjälnir Ironfist's Great Company = 1800pts
Guflag's Mercenary Ogres = 2000pts

the vallejo game colour Brassy brass is supposed to be a direct replacement, the model range Brass will be close.

coat D'arms will probably do a similarly named brass too.

I find this colour matching chart pretty useful for discontinued stuff http://taistelutarvike.fi/catalog/vallejochart.pdf

As usual, refer to the dakka paint range chart:
http://www.dakkadakka.com/wiki/en/Paint_Range_Compatibility_Chart

There are 3 direct clones and 1 somewhat similar version.

Awesome, thanks! I didn't even know such a chart existed!
