Here is my Deathwing Army idea, and currently I'm only at 1715, so I can shuffle around points if necessary. Also, I'm thinking that having a way to squeeze a libby or Azrael in can only be a good thing. The Libby helps with psychic defense and can take a hit with his Power Field, and Azrael gives a sweet 4+ save to his unit which combos really nicely with the Terminator Apothecary.

I'd really like for the dreads to have Multi-Meltas, but Dark Angels pay a premium for those AND Drop Pods, so the dreads come out crazy expensive, so I'll make do with the Assault Cannons I guess. Any other tips?

Well, the list looks really good with 4 DW units whose squad members are differently equipped.
Its a shame that the drop podding Dreads are that expensive.
I'd give the Dreads heavy flamers.

Do you think I should maybe drop a dread or two in favor of a couple more squads of DW terminators?

What about a librarian?

Librarian of course can be a good choice and, for at least one unit, will means one teleporting possibility.

Remember me pls if the Deathwing Pods will work exactly as the SM Pods, I mean the half immediately after the deployment.
In this case ok for the 3 Dreadnoughts, differently I will try something different or you risk to see half of your troops nuked before the first Dreads landing.

Other side, for one almost full terminators on foot list, I'm no so optimist. Little by little they will suffer the enemy ranged fire.
IF you will choose for a full Termies consider some Land Raiders, at least 2.

Toban,

I plan to deepstrike everything in every game, so I'm not worried about my guys waiting around unsupported. The Deathwing Assault and Drop Pod Assault rules mean I should get the majority of my force where I want it right away.

And you say that weight of fire will bring me down, but with even a few land raiders, my body count drops to half.

So rehashing this list....

Obviously, cyclones instead of AssCan's, and more TH/SS's, but do I want to leave in the podding dreads, or get some more juicy stuff like Ravenwing Typhoons or something?
