The background is that basically they're a 'secret' subsect of the Ordo Xenos, and they are conditioned to be unshakably Xenophobic. They are drawn from many different worlds, but primarily from Elysia, Terrax, and Oceanian (Oceanian is an Ocean world, and as such, they are trained in diving, amphibious warfare and underwater Combat. Standard regiments from the world wear MK36 'Gallat' pattern rebreather and compact oxygen systems, though the troops in this unit do not). The entire Regiment is equipped with M45 'Triplex' pattern combat adjustible Lasguns.
(BTW, does anyone know where the rules for Deathwatch Kill-teams are? They would be a fitting addition!)

Basic tactics is an armoured wedge of he Flamer and melta Squad supported by the CCS and Taros. Manticores hide and blow the klkn outa stuff. the Heavy Bolter Chimeras and their squads hang back and shoot infantry. In games without the Taros, I use Plasma instead of Melta in the CCS and add a Plasma Pistol and Power Fist. 9 Plasma shots at 12" makes Marines worry a lot.
