Hellooooooo,

Here is my first post, and it's all about Praetorian Guard. I've come up with a 2000pt list, and need the motivation to carry it out (hence this post) It's going to be two infantry platoons with a couple of heavy weapons squads each, with armour and some storm troopers (Don't know which models yet, but i leaning towards Elysians)

Anyway, i've got the models, just need to sort out colours and away i go.....(after i move house)

I'll post some pictures soon.

I've had a previous attempt at painting some figures (didn't get too far,) all i managed was one squad and a command squad....

Not shabby, I'd suggest using a wash on them though. It would be an easy way to make the details on the helmets pop out and smooth out the shading from the dry drushing.

Devlan mud or the other light brown one (cant recall the name since I dont use the GW stuff )

But keep it up! There another thread of a Praetorian army on here thats really well done(cant remember who though). Definitely worth looking at for some inspiration.

I agree with Mistress of Minis that your figures need a wash. You have some nice vibrant colors so far and some washes will help give depth to your figures.

I have an on-going thread for my Praetorian army that was painted by Garden Ninja painting studio. It might give you some ideas for your tanks.

Keep up the good work. It is great to see more Praetorians poking around on here.

I've had a look at your thread, all i can say is muchos impressive. As for the vehicles, i might go for a weathered olive drab colour scheme, boring i know, but painting them like you hava would take me tooooooo long.

Thanks to all for the advice/support.

Cheers.

I don't think it'd take that much longer to paint them red instead of olive.
