Okay i manage to get the chaos battle box and 2 chaos marines box and 2 chaos vindicators. I made a list that goes:

Deamon prince - wings, warptime, nurgle mark

10 CSM - 2 meltagun, champion PF - rhino /w havoc launcher
10 CSM - 2 meltagun, champion PF - rhino /w havoc launcher
10 CSM - 2 meltagun, champion PF - rhino /w havoc launcher
8 Khorne Bezerkers - champion PF - rhino

Vindicator - Demonic Possession, TL bolter
Vindicator - Demonic Possession, TL bolter

for 1500 pts!.

What do you guys think?
I havent got demon prince yet so im open to changing it to any other HQ cause he seems like a big target to me. I also tot of replacing the vindicators with 2 squads of 2 obliterators if i need long range fire.

I'm personally a Havoc Launcher defender, but it looks like you need to drop them to free up points, so you can put Icon of Chaos Glory on all your CSM squads (you don't want your guys running away), and maybe Extra Armour on the Zerker Rhino.

Prince is ok.

CSM are ok, IoCG is suggested.
Meltas and Havocs seem like a nice pair, but if you are deliverying meltas, it means their operational ranges are conflicting and the havoc's usage will be low, which is too expensive to not be using.

Zerkers are ok.
Vindi is ok, though I'm not a fan of relying on the scatter die.

Er, prince is fnie but take two for dual threat.

You do not need icons because you have nothing deep striking in and I certainly wouldn't deep strike the prince.

Drop the berzekers for the prince as mentioned.

I'd drop the bolter on the vindicator, it's not going to do a lot anyway so just ram things.

So a better list would be:

Actually, I'd be very wary of 'just' three rhinos, it's the bare minimum number of rhinos for saturation at the 1500 level.

Baby them and you should be good.

I have yet to actually need IOCG. YMMV. I like the list suggested by Mercer better as well.

Thanks bud! As for icons I've needed them a few times, not many. But I use mine for deep strikers so I use them differently.

Ic that daemon prince shud always come in pairs. While i like it, but id rather have 4 troop choice. It just seems more effective. Is there another HQ that anyone can recommend?

Well if you're looking to drop the DP, Kharn the Betrayer could be a nice replacement.

I do not suggest IC's as you have no space in the rhinos.
If you do drop a DP and a trooper for an IC, then I would agree with TheDevo and voting for Kharn, best fun:points efficiency of the HQ choices IMO.

You could always go with Mercers list but drop the third CSM unit to make two five man units with one melta each. Dropping the Champs and PF might provide you the points for this and you could alternatively swap the two 10x CSM units out for 8x Zerker units (If you got the points, I havn't looked at CSM codex In a while).
