Well, me and a fellow dakkite, -Name deleted by the inquisition- A.K.A. ImRightBehindYou did a battle report sunday, we decided to share it with the rest of you.

His thoughts on the list:
My thoughts: Christ I am a moron, I forgot the land speeder with a multi-melta I added in! That might have helped me out a bit.
I'm really worried about the Vindicators. I could care less about Lysander and crew (we'll see if that hurts). I'm afraid that Azrael might take a demolisher cannon to the face. Three pie plates is worrisome. I'm going to have to take those out quickly. If I don't, that'll be game. The Tactical Marines are essentially the same as mine so we'll about that. If I can bait Lysander out into the open, I think I can destroy him.
His Dark Angels list:
Azrael:
= 225 pts.
Interrogator Chaplain: Combi-flamer and melta bombs.
= 135 pts.
Command Squad: Chapter Banner, power fist, two flamers, Apothecary with power sword.
= 200 pts
10 Tactical Marines: Sergeant with power fist, melta gun, Rocket launcher. Rhino.
= 245 pts.
10 Tactical Marines: Sergeant with power fist, melta gun, Rocket launcher. Rhino.

10 Tactical Marines: Sergeant with powersword, flamer, Plasma Cannon.

My thoughts on the list: Not too shabby, I approve of his troop choices.

Looks like he put too many points into his
HQ, which I will try to smash with Lysander!

Deployment Notes: I use bolster defenses on my sandbag fortifications.
My turn 1:
I move up to shoot with the vindicators and get some next turn goodies.
My vindicator on the top shakes the land raider.
My vindicator 3 wrecks his green rhino, that will cost him, and him placing his marines in
LoS to my vindicator will cost him even more.
The second vindicator scatters into the middle of nowhere.
Some missles do nothing much.
Of course I forget the picture...
ImRightBehindYou's turn 1:
His movement is all just positioning.
His missle launcher on the far left knocks the demolisher cannon off of my second vindicator.
He assaults my land raider... doing nothing, as expected, a whopping two hit though.
Turn 2:
Everything moves up and disembarks, determined to get revenge for that lost demolisher cannon!
My meltas manage to rip off the assault cannons on his black land raider, and wreck another rhino!
Some further shooting immobilizes the land raider, making it easy pickin's for the terminators.
They barely get enough immobilized/weapon destroyed results to wreck it.
I have 4
KP's by this point, to his none.
Turn 2:
His "Azzy" raider moves up, hoping to crump with Lysander.
His command squad looks death in the face, mwahaha. They kill a single terminator with 5 pistols and 3 flamers. They charge, killing Lysander, and two terminators.
His mini devestator squads manage to not do anything, again. ^^
His northern combat squads incinerate 4 unlucky teal marines.
"Green marines" assault the 10 man marines, and get slewn.
Black raider squad dismounts and flames two marines. Who feth all, because of insane heroism. Then get reduced to just the sergeant in assault. = (
Turn 3:
I prepare to earn two
KP's, and end up making more.
My shooting kills a plasma cannon loner, and rips off his land raider's assault cannon.
One new assault.
My white marines wipe out his marines in close combat, after he rolls... double ones to hit, and my power fist scores maximum. ^^
His command squad finishes off my terminators, and consolidate out of combat with the redeemer. (?)
The teal marines wipe out his five man combat squad, and consolidate a whopping 2".
Turn 3:
This'll be good, his land raider moves up, and he prepares for some assaulting.
His tiny combat squad explodes my vindicator. Rats!
A flamer into the fleeing teals proves useless, though the assault kills off two, and they get an insane heroism roll!
The command squad from hell rips the cannon off of a vindicator, and stun it.
Turn 4:
I am am trying to deny some
KP's and, I move some stuff about.
My land raider fries a marine with a multi-melta.
The top close combat provides no closure, as all saves are passed!
The white marines charge at the land raider, hoping for some glance death, none hit.
The chaplain's melta bomb explodes the land raider!
Turn 4:
He runs towards my vindicator, and backs his land raider up, the game is getting tight by now.
And by tight, I mean I should have done things differently.
Turn 5:
My far left rhino tank shocks, running over the marine with a missle launcher.
The top close combat ends in a draw, us both executing a marine.
My land raider assault fails, as I do nothing again.
Turn 5:
His command squad gets ready to earn yet another kill point.
His land raider fires into the advancing marines, killing 2.
My marines kills his remaining sgt, but not after he kills the melta.
*The game was going to end here, though we decided to keep it going*
Turn 6:
I tank shock into his unit, herding it away, and trying to prevent it from killing my solo marine, that I could have ran into the rhino for a
KP denial, but what fun would that be?
My melta and powerfists shake and immobilize the land raider.
The orange marines do squat.
Turn 6:
His command squad gets ready to murder the orange marines
The combat squad advances and splats the lone marine against the side of the land raider.
Turn 7:
I assault his lonely combat squad, trying to finish it off, and I miss with every attack!
He kills one, and wins the combat! I roll insane heroism.
Turn 7:
His multi-melta fires at the rhino, trying to get a final
KP, and fails.
I barely win the close combat, and he passes his leadership, so it is a game, and a draw at that.
After game thoughts:
Me: Underestimated that command squad... I FORGOT A LAND SPEEDER, my marines performed ok, as usual. Lysander being tricked by those dark angels was my downfall! I thought they were pansies, though they had some dirty tricks, such as the chaplain, and the 4+ invulnerable to the whole squad because of the helmet.

My plan worked for the most part albeit terrible armor saves most of the game. The Azrael Deathstar baited Lysander and destroyed him and his retinue. They massacred their way through 4 tanks and a combat squad. Great. The tactical squads did moderately and were meh in combat. The Raiders were alright but the close assault combat squads and the Command Squad carried the day for the Dark Angels. Even though it was a draw it was a great game. Draws usually are, its more intense. There were a lot of poor dice rolls as well as good ones and Syphonious' list was rather intimidating. I'm still drafting this list so input would be great. And to think the game could've come down to my immobilized Raider popping a Rhino with the
MM. Well, good game Syphonious and I hope to see you around. P.S. Don't play with knives during a Game
That last comment was because there was an accident, involving a knife, and some recklessness midgame, it involved a hospital visit, and some stitches...
All in all: I am sure we both could have played better, though it was a fun friendly match.
No turn 7 pictures for some reason, anyhoo, next time I fight him, I may bring my tournament list. o.O
