Question is in the title, really. Just wondering because I'm starting a scout army very shortly, but all the snipers I've ever seen pictures of appear to be in very, very similar poses.

mix some combat ones in with the snipers, but get some loose rifles on their backs etc, so it looks like they are carrying them

Good idea, Pip. I might just do that. They're equipped with Bolt pistols too, so that make things easier.

I was thinking about using Catachan arms and sniper rifles, too.

Also the box comes with 6 rifles, one of them without hands on it.

Nahh, I can't be bothered with any of that monkey business just yet mate. I think I can make a good variety of them interchanging some Catachan parts, that should be enough.
